As Retail Operations Director, you will oversee all retail operations including, but not limited to, new store site selection, training, visual merchandising and inventory management with the goal of maximizing profitability across a network of stores. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for retail and proven successes implementing store marketing initiatives, project leadership skills, enjoys team-building and loves a fast-paced startup like environment. This role will also have fiscal, strategic and operational responsibilities across the entire retail segment with a multi-million operations budget.

The Role:

  • End-to-end management of retail expansion strategy from site selection recommendations, project management, build out, hiring and training
  • Develop and maintain a robust training program to build a customer first mentality across an empowered and knowledge staff who are experts in brand, products, tech and services
  • Drive sales through visual merchandising standards with continuous interaction with marketing and merchandising teams
  • Build community initiatives to ensure stores are at the center of sporting goods activities
  • Work with management team to manage retail budget by executing upon KPI goals

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 8+ years of retail experience with a proven track record
  • Highly well-versed in merchandising, planning, in-store marketing and training
  • Proven track record leading a customer first culture

  • Ability to handle high pressure environments with aggressive growth goals
  • Outstanding analytical skills and KPI-driven
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) or equivalent Google tools
